The Krieger-X is a heavily modified battle rifle platform derived from legacy 7.62mm designs. Developed after catastrophic containment failures, it is engineered specifically for combat within anomalous zones where conventional automatic weapons have proven ineffective—or fatal—against both hostile Entities and organized human Bandit elements.
Automatic fire was officially classified as a containment hazard following evidence that sustained gunfire increased Entity aggression, triggered anomalous reactions, and caused spatial instability.
The Krieger-X enforces deliberate fire discipline. Each trigger pull is intentional, limiting resonance buildup and maintaining operator psychological control under extreme conditions.
Military: Standard issue for containment teams operating in close-quarters anomaly zones.
Survivors: Highly sought after. Known as a "calm weapon"—keeps its wielder alive.

The Wächter-X is a semi-automatic, high-capacity containment handgun based on a heavily modified Glock-pattern platform. Developed for environments where primary weapons may fail, be lost, or be rendered unusable by anomalous interference, the Wächter-X ensures military operators are never unarmed during a containment breach.
Its defining feature is a 30-round extended magazine, designed not for sustained fire, but for endurance—allowing operators to survive prolonged engagements without reloads in spaces where reload actions are frequently exploited by hostile Entities.
The Wächter-X retains the mechanical simplicity and reliability of its Glock-based origin while incorporating reinforced internals, anomaly-resistant materials, and a permanently locked semi-automatic-only fire-control system. Automatic or burst fire was explicitly rejected after testing showed increased risk of loss of control during close-proximity anomalous encounters.

Unauthorized possession of the Wächter-X constitutes a Class-III Security Breach. Survivors or non-military actors found armed with this sidearm are to be designated as Malignant Bandits, indicating confirmed theft of classified containment equipment.
The HX-12 "Warden" is a heavily modified, mag-fed shotgun sidearm derived from an oversized handgun platform and reinforced to withstand extreme chamber pressures. While visually reminiscent of legacy large-caliber pistols, the Warden is classified as a compact containment shotgun, not a handgun.
Designed for environments where primary weapons may be disabled, lost, or rendered unreliable by anomalous interference, the Wächter-12 serves as a last-resort authority weapon—intended to end breaches decisively at point-blank to short-range distances.
Conventional shotgun doctrine assumes low round counts and frequent reloads. In anomalous environments, this assumption has proven fatal.
Entities encountered during containment operations frequently exploit reload windows, displaying aggressive movement patterns synchronized to operator hesitation, mechanical pauses, or auditory cues associated with reloading actions.
The Wächter-12’s 12-round magazine is not intended for sustained fire, but for temporal dominance— allowing the operator to maintain continuous threat projection through an entire breach event without lowering the weapon, breaking eye contact, or performing fine motor actions under extreme stress.
Operators are trained to treat the Warden as a sentence-delivery system. Each shell is loaded with specialized payloads designed to disrupt, anchor, or permanently incapacitate hostile Entities at close range.

The Bulwark-16 is a high-rate-of-fire infantry machine gun derived from a heavily reinforced M16-pattern receiver. Unlike conventional rifles, the Bulwark-16 is engineered to deliver overwhelming, sustained fire through brute mechanical resistance rather than operator restraint.
A defining characteristic of the Bulwark-16 is its extremely heavy trigger pull, deliberately calibrated to prevent accidental discharge and reduce panic-induced firing during anomalous encounters. Once engaged, however, the weapon cycles at an exceptionally high rate of fire, producing short but devastating bursts even with minimal trigger actuation.
Though capable of infantry deployment, the Bulwark-16 was designed first and foremost as an integrated weapon system for Striker-Class armored vehicles, where recoil mitigation, power draw, and thermal load can be fully managed.
When mounted within a Striker-Class Armored Personnel Carrier, the Bulwark-16 functions as a coaxial or remote-operated suppression weapon. Vehicle integration bypasses the manual trigger assembly, allowing electronic fire control while preserving the weapon’s extreme cyclic rate.
In this configuration, the Bulwark-16 serves as a close-range containment and suppression tool, complementing the APC’s primary armament by saturating corridors, breach points, and Entity emergence zones with immediate kinetic force.
Developed to bridge the gap between precision containment rifles and close-quarters suppression weapons, the Jäger-X is an adaptive hunter platform designed for rapidly evolving anomalous encounters. Where doctrine collapses and Entity behavior shifts mid-engagement, the Jäger-X allows operators to respond without changing weapons—or mindset.
Unlike the Krieger-X, the Jäger-X permits semi-automatic, controlled burst, and full automatic fire. This decision followed evidence that certain Entities are disrupted—rather than empowered—by auditory saturation and sustained kinetic pressure.
Burstfire is optimized to interrupt movement patterns and vocalization-based anomalies, while full automatic fire is reserved as a deliberate escape or suppression tool rather than a default engagement method.
The Jäger-X is restricted to military use only. Issuance requires advanced clearance and completion of adaptive-fire containment training. Civilian and survivor possession is prohibited under all standing containment accords.
Any survivors found armed with Jäger-X, Krieger-X, or Wächter-X platforms are automatically designated as "Malignant Bandits". This classification indicates confirmed theft of heavily classified and secretive military weaponry.
Malignant Bandits are to be considered high-risk hostile actors. Engagement authorization is granted without further verification due to the strategic and containment risk posed by unauthorized possession of adaptive-response weapons.

Survivors and non-military actors are prohibited from possessing the Bulwark-16. Unauthorized use has resulted in severe injury, structural collapse, and fatal friendly-fire incidents.
The Striker-Class APC is a fast-assault armored vehicle designed to combine armor, speed, and overwhelming firepower into a single breach platform. Unlike traditional APCs, Striker-Class vehicles are intended to engage hostile forces directly while delivering troops into unstable or contested environments.
Striker-Class APC — Fast Assault / Containment Breach Configuration
The Striker-Class APC is equipped with a 30 mm automatic cannon mounted in a low-profile, unmanned remote turret. The cannon provides decisive firepower against hardened targets, large Entities, and reinforced structures, enabling the vehicle to force entry and control engagement tempo.
Complementing the cannon is a vehicle-integrated Bulwark-16 system. In this configuration, the Bulwark-16 is hard-mounted to the APC’s chassis, drawing power, cooling, and stabilization directly from the vehicle. This allows sustained fire well beyond infantry-safe limits, turning the APC into a mobile suppression platform.
The Striker-Class weapon pairing follows a deliberate engagement sequence:
30 mm Cannon: Breaks barriers, neutralizes major threats, opens routes.
Bulwark-16: Maintains continuous suppression, denies movement, protects troop deployment.
This combination allows Striker-Class APCs to dominate confined and chaotic battlefields while maintaining the speed necessary to disengage before anomalous escalation occurs.
All personnel operating under PROJECT-X authority are required to fully comply with Task Force medical teams. Medical directives are considered operational orders, not advisory guidance.
Malcompliance—including refusal of treatment, interference with medical procedures, concealment of symptoms, or hostility toward medical staff—will result in immediate revocation of medical support.
Individuals designated as medically noncompliant are subject to authorized neglect and may be formally abandoned in-field if continued treatment is assessed to compromise mission integrity, containment stability, or team survival probability.
This policy exists due to repeated incidents where untreated exposure, delayed intervention, or psychological contamination escalated into secondary outbreaks. Preservation of the Task Force supersedes individual recovery.
At the discretion of a Task Force Team Leader, non-core personnel—including survivors, auxiliaries, or temporarily attached individuals—may be designated as "Contributors". This designation is granted only when additional armed presence is required to preserve medical operations, evacuation integrity, or survivor protection during active containment scenarios.
Contributors may be issued limited-access containment weapons, specifically the Wächter-X containment sidearm or the Wächter-12 (HX-12 "Warden") hand-cannon, for the sole purpose of defensive action. Weapon issuance under this protocol does not constitute military induction or clearance elevation.
Contributor-issued weapons are restricted to point-defense roles, including protection of medical personnel, wounded operators, and compliant survivors. Independent movement, pursuit, or offensive action is prohibited unless explicitly ordered by Task Force command.
Contributor status is temporary and revocable without notice. Failure to comply with Task Force orders, mishandling of issued equipment, or attempted retention of weapons following mission completion will result in immediate reclassification as a hostile actor.
The Vigil-X Consortium exists to observe, contain, and neutralize threats that exceed civilian, governmental, and conventional military capacity. Its stated objective is the preservation of human survivability in the presence of anomalous, extra-normal, and existential hazards.
Vigil-X is not affiliated with, subordinate to, or governed by any national authority. While partially funded through multinational government contracts and discretionary security appropriations, the Consortium operates as an independent entity, bound only by its own internal regulations, operational charters, and containment doctrines.
In pursuit of its objectives, the Consortium authorizes actions that may conflict with humanitarian, ethical, or legal standards under normal conditions. These actions include controlled abandonment, resource denial, enforced compliance, termination of designated hostile individuals, and selective sacrifice when predictive modeling indicates that restraint would result in greater loss of life or irreversible containment failure.
Vigil-X reserves the right to classify, detain, or terminate any individual—military, civilian, or otherwise—deemed to pose a containment risk or operational liability. Such decisions are executed without external oversight and are considered final under Consortium authority.
Vigil-X does not claim moral authority—only operational necessity. Its successes are measured in prevented catastrophes rather than lives saved, and its failures are buried alongside the threats they prevented from spreading.
